Ok I have a '92 hatch dx d15z1 i want to get as much power as i can out of it... so can someone give me some help on that and and eventually down the road maybe soon i might upgrade to an integra ls or h22, b18 i havent decide.. can someone help pick the best performing parts for my car, right now i have about $1400 in spending cash.

$1,400 isn't enough to make any good power n/a. Even if you had enough money, I wouldn't spend it on a 1.5

 

DX comes with a d15b7. VX comes with the D15Z1. Or do you already have a swap?

The D15Z1 is really weak though. It's not worth upgrading.

For $1400 you could get a D16Z6 and a few internal parts like a cam, springs, retainers, valves, pistons, rods. You're only gonna be able to buy a couple of those things with the motor though with $1400. Make sure if you buy internals that you put some money to the side for a chipped ECU and a tune.
