Default need some info

ok so i have a 2001 Honda civic LX 4 door. i want to put a DOHC head on it. is it able to do it or can i only put a SOHC? please let me know. i plan to put headers cold air clutch/pressure plate, DOHC head/SOHC head with headwork. so i need to know so please help and if u have any websites i can go to to get parts like this for cheap. also i gonna need a VTEC controller. If anything i might just put a GSR-Turbo swap in it..but i want to wait on that. anyways please lemme know since i know more about corollas and volkswagens. thanks

You cannot put a DOHC head on a SOHC block. And there is really no need for a VTEC controller.

mhm well maybe i'll just stick a si motor in it..i can get ne real cheap almost the same price as buying a head and getting headwork..plus i can give that one head and put high comp. pistons..or low comp..depending on whether or not i decide to just turbo the si engine....
