Want to put a P/P Z6 head on my Y8. What should i do for preping? Going to run a Stage 1 cam as well, should i even bother with a cam gear? What the power but want it to be safe as well.

I'm gonna be real blunt here, a stage 1 cam is a waste of money, if you are gonna replace the cam get a stage 2. Might as well do the valvetrain while you are at it, get the intake manifold ported to match.
