Go to the store buy some oil dye put it in you oil and look with a black light to see where it is going.I would wash or wipe engine down first. That's what I would do Cause the oil is leaking out you seen it right?

taste is just bland now, but i can still taste. And maybe onceevery few weeks i'll get a wiff of something, like smell for about 1/2 a second, and my doctor said thats because theres blood still disappating from the area between my brain and skull (my brain was bledding in two spots), which means the nerves up there might recover and i might get my smell back

talked to a few ppl in the HCF chat last night, we're tihnking its the oil pan gasket since: not burning it, exhaust looks/smells alright, not dripping undernaeth, and the last time i was under my car the pan had oil on it (on the outside). Repleaced the plug and crush gasket and still getting the same problem, sound like a oil gasket to you guys?

could be leaking there, could be leaking elsewhere. Clean your engine REALLY WELL and then run it again, it will be easier to isolate the leak if it's not dirty

true ^ the only place i've actaullyseen oil ison the outside of the oil pan itself and i replaced the plug so i know its not leaking out of the plug, and its not dripping, more like running down the pan, so thats why i'm thinking the gasket.

can you see oil anywhere around the filter? because if so like someone said, it could be loose, or might not be the correct filter for your car. but you would end up losing all of your oil almost immediately that way...
