Hey !I have a probleme with my 2002 civic wen I am accelerating .Let's say I am driving in second gear at 3500rpm and quickly smash the gas pedal to the floor my car does somethng like a small back fire and then run ok but seems like there is a little esitation at hight rpm like 6500 to 7200 .Could someone help me with that and give me your sugestion .And I dont know if this would make any differences but I have a short ram air intake and a exaust(muffler only ) Thanks

 

hmmm, I think you may be running a bit rich. Do this, check your spark plugs, and wires. Im almost 100% sure that it will fix your problem.

 

Well I just made a tune up at my honda dealer about 10 000kms ago and they changed the sparkplugs . Please help !

 

ok, this isn't probably your problem, but how about the spark plug wires, are those good? My friend has a 98 elantra, and his wires made his car act up bad when it was only like 3 years old.

 

its definitely the 02 sensor... and if you just put a hiflow cat on it, then you gotta pull the cables from the battery for 5 mins and it resets your engine computer, try that... if it doesnt work, buy a new 02 sensor
