Default B18C1 > B18C5..?

Alright, obviously I know that the B18C5 is a couple more ponies that the C1 but, I have a couple quick questions:

1) What actually makes them different?.. Compression ratio?

2) Is there any cheapish way to make the C1 have the same ratio, or higher than the C5?

3) What's the max hp I could get with a C1 with raised compression and bolt on I/H/E, TB, IM...

4) How much would it cost to get higher compression. I'm thinking I'd like to be around 12:1 or so.

I'm just wondering cause I'm thinking in about a year I'll have the bread to stuff a B18 in my civic, so I'm trying to sort out options early and take my time figuring out what I want to do. I'm thinking I'd like to do N/A so even if you open the hood it still looks like a stockish B16 model. I doubt I want to go bigger than the 1.8 because I loooove my handling, any input is highly welcome.

Mill your head and your CR is gonna be up...cheap...don't know if that's a good thing on the C1 though

The biggest difference is the head. Basically, it's cast roughly the same as the GSR head (using the B-series blank cast), but then it's ported and polished from the factory so it just flows much better. Then, of course, there's the obvious differences like higher compression pistons, throttle body, manifolds, head internals like cams, valves, etc. Not 100% sure about the rods (I'm sure sacs or someone knows).

is the head on the C5 create higher compression or is it more or less the same?

Alright, one more... what's the max compression that's actually safe to run?

I found this calculator and according to it, the C1 with C5 pistons will run 12:1 compression ratio, but with B16B pistons it'll run 12.8:1. Is that really possable? If so... what kind of performance am I looking at and, what would be possable failures within the engine?

Thanks for the help everyone.
