oil leak

Default oil leak

i have oil leaking through the bolts that hold the valve cover on what do i need to replace to stop this leak. there is no oil leaking from around the valve cover.

i would get some new washer mounts. They have a rubber seal inside of them and they do have a tendenic to leak if they are not tight or they are cracked and brittle due to the heat of the engine.

Ya, go to the Honda dealer, you should just be able to get the seal, they take some work to pop on though, you'll see when you get the bolts out. MAKE SURE YOU TORQUE THEM TO SPEC! They are very easy to break, especially if it's an older civic.
