i have a motor tick in my 2000 honda civic si! was looking on doing a h22 motor in it. what is all needed just the motor.. will everything still hook up?? anybody know

 

Have you established where the tic is coming from? Something as simple as low oil can cause a tic. Always try the cheapest route first. As far as the swap goes, its gonna take a lot more than just the motor. Go look the h22 build thread in the project section for a better idea. Also, give the search function a try. Just use simple search terms like "h22 swap" and see what pops up. One more thing, to get questions answered a little more quickly, make sure they are posted in the appropriate section. Yea. Wrong section. This is not a project, but an Engine swap related question.

I would first diagnose the tick. If anything, the valve lash may need to be set.

H22 swap info is out there. You just have to search a little as they are not as common as B series swaps.
