Highschool has been a lot of fun, especially the last two years. However, i think im gonna enjoy this summer quite a bit because thats when i'm planning on starting the GSR build. Without the 2 years of autoshop, it would be close to impossible for me to even think about doin the GSR build. I'm really not looking forward to goto college, i think that high school was/is more fun that college will be.
Yea im gonna do it in the summer hopefully. Graduating has nothing to do with it, it just happens that i hope to have the money by the summer. I don't know when the actual swap will go down. First i gotta get the motor and rebuild it, which is gonna take some time. Then i have to wait till my dad buys a new car, after that the swap can go down. And i gotta do a auto to manny swap along with that.
same boat here. im waiting tilla fter senior year tho...cuz my parents came up with a payment plan for me. see...my grades are really crappy. like to the point where last semester i got a low 2. gpa (2.4ish..yeah...theyve gotten bad) so as incentive to get it back up, they came up with a payment plan for me for all this car stuff. 200 bucks for an A, 100 bucks for a B, nothing for a C, -200 for a D, -500 for an E. great right? if i get straight A's from here on out (its by quarter since quarters count equally for each other) i make 14000 by the end of senior year. so thats when my car stuff is going down.
My parents aren't doin anything like that for me. Last two semisters i've gotten a 4.0, so my cumulative is 3.6. Personal goal is to get it up to 3.8, but i dunno. I would have to get a 4.0 in the next 2 semisters. I think i got my 4 for the last semester, but i dunno about the current one. But i got into the school that i wanted to goto so i guess my 2nd semester grade doesn't really matter. I had enough credits to graduate at the end of JR year, i only have to pass 2 classes + PE. (It would have been 1 class + PE but i opted to take AP Political Science instead of regual government)
I'm not so much lucky, as i've already taken a whole bunch of classes. I've taken 5 years of Math, 4 of science, english and social science. I took summer school during Freshman and Softmore year. Its not that its easy to graduate in my school, i just choose my classes carefully. If you do it right, you can have 5-6 free periods. There are a couple kids i know that have like 5 free periods. I've never failed a class, in fact the only D i ever got was in 8th grade PE.
