Default Power Steering

Whos got it who doesnt? I am getting the civic back very soon, but the power steering pump is shot. I told the body shop not to fix it, as I can do it myself and save some $. However, I was thinking about taking it off. Anyone not have it? How bad is it? Thanks!

I have taken it off every honda I have owned. It required a little effort in like parking lots but I love the way it feels after the car is rolling. I say try it when you get the car back.

My dad's little crx doesn't have power steering and it pretty much feels the same once the car is running, It's actually alot softer and easier to move the the steering once it's running compare to my civic. Like Marty said, when parking it does require a little effort to move the wheel.
