Prelude h22 in a 97 civic lx?

Default Prelude h22 in a 97 civic lx?

so i found a motor and i am going to do a swap but i am unsure. Can a 92-92 prelude h22 fit into my 97 lx and if it can do i need new motor mounts or whats the deal..?

Yeah, it'll fit, but it technically won't be legal. I believe the law is that a swapped engine must be the same age or newer than the car. But anyway, you need custom mounts and all that good stuff... Also, you have to do some cutting for the shift linkage or something. Run a search and you'll probably find a few threads with some good info.
