retorquing headstuds, oil leak?
alright chaps,i have completed a engine build on my civic and am happy with the result, im runnig a turbo at 0.9 of a bar and areinforced block ieGE blockguard, eagle rods and wiseco pistons. everthing was good till i noticed a oil leak from the left front oil galery on the headgasket, im thinkin do you need to retorque head studs after so many miles or is it my block guard that is flush pshing that side the head off its oil seal. hope this makes sense, manythanks
here is a pic of the block before the head wasput on, the oil galery is the one at the top left.

RE: retorquing headstuds, oil leak?
yeah running arp studs! the oil leak is very annoying, its loses quite a bit. will try and sort that this weekend and i have a new uprated timingtiming belt to go on it will be a good time to do that. does anyone have trouble with the vtec hydraulic lifters cause i have a tappy noise coming from my head and have gone round and checked all valve adjustment and there perfect the only thing i can think of is the hydrailc bit in the middle, when i went to the tuners for my mappingthey said the noise wascoming from the oil filler area. after usingthere listeningequipment. is this commmon afterrebuild to have a dodgy hydralic lifter?
