Im looking for a good short shifter for my 97 civic ex. I was wondering what type i should get; aluminum, billet etc. Also what are some of the good brands. thanks

Skunk2, billet steel. WILL NOT break. lifetime guarantee. ive broken a couple of aluminum ones and a few friends have as well. i havent had any problems in three years with the S2. great feel too.
