Default Simple Engine Upgrades

Dont kno much about engine builds but wat else can be done along with I/H/E. Like upgrade cams...what else is there. O this is for a N/A car. Got $2000 for this little project just want something simple to gain some power.

Suspension, short shifter, new ignition, light weight flywheel, lightweight wheels.... what kind of car is it?

I don't thinka cam qualifies as a simple upgrade.

Well we wont be doing the work on it. Gonna take it to a tuner or something.

Well thats no fun. If you are just going to pay for something fast and not do the work yourself then you would just be better off buying a mustang or something.

There is MORE than enough information on the internet to do any small upgrades to your car. As for tools, go buy a ratchet set and some floor jacks! Or, if you can't afford that... it's usually like 5-10 bucks to rent a garage for an hour, just take a look around. You'll be ALOT happier if you do the work yourself, really makes you appreciate your ride, that's what makes owning a civic so fun

before anything do the suspension.

make sure your car is well balanced all around ie. dont just dump money in the motor do weight and suspension. most importantly get it to breathe better. ( Im a student at wyotech, an automotive tech school)
