Umm... 16 is legal working age, Jerky boy. I think kids who work 40 hour weeks to earn money instead of asking mommy and daddy should be commended. For a 16 yr old, working is more than just a paycheck, it's a glimpse of the real world where people have to work for a living. It builds character, promotes individualism, and instills work ethic. Let alone contributing to the GNP and generally being a productive member of society.
I don't know what Nails does for his money but I bet he is good at it. What do you do, Carlover other than complain?

I don't think 16 year olds are allowed to work 40 hrs/wk during the school year (in NY at least), but with a $6.50/hr job full time you COULD earn that much in the summer.

There are no time standards for minors 16 and 17 years of age regarding the numbers of hours worked per day or per week, however,
minors shall receive an eight hour rest break at the end of each work day, before the commencement of the next day of work."
