Umm... 16 is legal working age, Jerky boy. I think kids who work 40 hour weeks to earn money instead of asking mommy and daddy should be commended. For a 16 yr old, working is more than just a paycheck, it's a glimpse of the real world where people have to work for a living. It builds character, promotes individualism, and instills work ethic. Let alone contributing to the GNP and generally being a productive member of society.

I don't know what Nails does for his money but I bet he is good at it. What do you do, Carlover other than complain?
thank you Docter Phill

I don't think 16 year olds are allowed to work 40 hrs/wk during the school year (in NY at least), but with a $6.50/hr job full time you COULD earn that much in the summer.

This is so ridiculously off topic, which seems to be the norm whenever Carlover graces a post with his genius, but...

"LOUISIANA MINOR LABOR LAW PLACARD
TITLE 23, CHAPTER 3 OF REVISED STATUES, OF 1950 AS AMENDED
There are no time standards for minors 16 and 17 years of age regarding the numbers of hours worked per day or per week, however,
minors shall receive an eight hour rest break at the end of each work day, before the commencement of the next day of work."

Why do you insist on berating comments made that are intended for the use of the poster, with absolutely no intention of providing useful information? You ever hear that old saying, "If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything?" Well I am amending it just for you.

If you don't have anything useful or constuctive to say, zip it.
