I have a D series in my 2000 EX and I used the Nology Hotwires and Sterling Silver plugs and I could notice an immediate "Pep" that I didnt find before. I have been really happy with them so far.

but did u have new plugs in there before... if u compared two new sets of plugs im sure the difference might not be so noticable
