Stalling issues
So i just built a new short ram intake with a fairly large filter of my z6 and now when getting on the highway, the electrical system seems to fail when it shifts gears.. unless i keep my foot down on the pedal. does anyone have a clue of whats going on? am i pulling in too much air causing it to shut off the engine? the speedometer jumps up and down before the shutdown. No codes are being thrown and all the fuses seem fine.

Is the Charge System Light staying ON?
Is the alternator belt slipping?
Have you cleaned and tightened the battery terminals and connectors, as well as the battery ground wire attached to the engine bay? Have you checked whether the alternator connector is loose or the alternator wires are damaged?
Is the battery charged? Is the alternator failing? AutoZone will check your charge system as a free service.

Alternator and battery are almost new. put new ones in like 6 months ago when i got a new motor. i got the batt and alt. checked at autozone and they are alright... ill try replacing the old ground wires with some 0 gauge power wire tomorrow at work... the air filter has a metal mesh on it and it sits right above/ rests on the starter... i dont know how but could it be shorting it out through there? isnt the fuse 24 under the dash a SRS fuse anyway?

Yes, fuse 24 also protects many other components related to your problem (alternator and VSS/speedometer):
