Default On a stock gsr . . .

at what rpm's does vtec kicks in? i got a gsr in my ek and it kicks in at about 5600 but i was told that on a stock gsr it engages at 4500. BTW i have a p28 i dont know if that matters but oh well i bought the car with it . im also planning on getting an SI cluster since it has the same redline as the GSR

you need a p72 because the GSR has secondaries in the intake manifold that need to be opened unless you are running a b16a/b18c5(type r) intake manifold.

Well u mite not b able to use a p72 actully b/c if u have a non-vtec car the p72 won't fit. I had this problem b/c the p72 is for the GSR but u need to use a p28 b/c that fits the car and works with the engine. And 4500 is preatty high the ecu may have been chipped to change were the vtec kicks in like i have a p28 chipped in my gsr hatch and it vtec's at 5000 and it also change the redline to 9000
