Default stroker or b20?

was wondering if anybody ever used a stroker kit on a b18c. I have a t3/t4 turbo and was thinking about getting one, but my buddy has a b20 block and said we could just use my head and be just about as good for a lot less $$$$. Any opinions?

well th thing is the B20 is the same bore as the B18 but with a longer stroke, making itweaker under boost. it also doesnt have vtec which is a huge compliment to a turbo of that size. another great thing about stroker kits is most of them come with enlarged pistons so you are not only increcing the stroke, but your increcing teh bore too, keeping it relitavely boost friendly but getting more torque. the problem is, stroker kids arent cheap.

oh yeah...you probably dont want to be doing a CR/VTEC conversion unless you know exactly what you are doing. if you're not 100% sure you can do it, get someone else to build it for you.

Just use a LS crank with your B18C. You should see gains throughout the powerband, or so I've read.

The B20 blocks dont hold up well to boost. If your gonna do anything do it to your engine you've got.

Berz out.

Actually B20s have larger bores than LS blocks.
