i will warn you...any K20 will cost you an arm and a leg...the K20A will prolly cost you your left nut too

what year is your civic?

Its a 2005 civic LX (sedan)

i have about $12,000 set aside for the engine and installation, hopefully thats enough

yeah...thats deffinately enough. look for a K20A. not the A2 or A3...just A. its got more power on tap

alright cool... should i expect the installer to have all the parts, or is there anything i need to buy along with it, (be specific please), and any uncommon tools..

(yeah, i know i dont know enough about engine work, but i make up for it when it comes to audio)

you'll need a 'full' engine swap, engine mounts, shift linkage i believe, wiring harness, or maybe just a new ECU instead.
