swapping out the head on my ls

Default swapping out the head on my ls

i know this is the civic forum, but tomorrow im planning on pulling out the head on my LS. I have the new one sitting in my dining room, but i just wanted to know if there is anything i should know before pulling this thing out. me and johnb are going to try and start tinkering away just lookin for any advice you guys can shoot our way. thanks much!

Only thing I can think of is to make sure you have a NEW head gasket.

What advice are you looking for? Lable everything, get a new head gasket, get a new timing belt, and might as well get a new water pump. Also a good chance to throw a nice set of stg1 or stg2 cams in it.
