Default Tachometer help !

It seems alot of people go straight to the cluster panel to install the wires for the tach. How do I go about splicing the wires into the cluster panel set of wires and how do I know which wires to splice into ? Is there a wiring guide. Any picture url's that can help me out ?

blue wire witha silver ihs white strip on it...that will be your tach wire, cut it with A.) pliars B.) knife C.) wire tool thing. remove enough of the wires cover to attach the end of your new tachometers wire, then attach the two toegether, then attach the 3rd part (the one that goes to the insterment panel) if you want, use electric tape or "black tape" to tape over the expsoed wire, or you can use heat shrink tubing. or you can buy wire splicers wich make things much easier...you can find them at wall mart and most autoparts stores.
