I think my car may need new belts, like timing belt, and the other belt. Would changing to new belts improve performance at all? I recently adjusted the throttle body cable so now when I pop it in first the gas pedal is super sensitive, which is what I was aiming for. But it still feels like it could be faster from when I shift gears. Am I shifting too early? Anywho, any comments would be helpful.

 

Performance? No. Not needing a new motor? Yes.
