Valve adjustment on D1.5 SOHC
My valves are a little noisy and am going to adjust them pretty soon here. I have the specs that they are suppost to be at, but I was wondering if anyone knew of a spec that I could adjust them to, to get more power without damaging anything. I have a 95 civic LX 4 door that has a D series 1.5 SOHC 16 valve non-vtec.

the specs they should be at is the best.
and make sure the engine is cold when doing this. let it sit for at least a few hours. otherwise the tolerances could be off due to the heat.

Yeah deffinantly am going to do it cold. I was just wondering becuase I heard somewhere that you could adjust your valves to have your intake open more slightly. But then there is a reason that they have specified clearence I geuss. I figured there really wasnt, especially since you cant really get that much more power that way. Thanks.
