Default valve adjustment

Hi.
This is my first post here.I own a 98 civic ex and a 99 crv.I just did a valve adjustment on the crv as I've been told it's a must do.Is a valve adjustment as critical an issue on the civic and if so,are there any links or past posts that will help a guy DIY?Thanks,mike

yes, it should be done on any honda motor. if youve done it on the crv, then the civ will be easy. they are higher up than on a b series, so they are easier to get to. make sure the engine is 100% cold when you do it though, or it will throw it off. the best way is to get a manual, like a haynes or something, and follow the instructions. good luck.
