Variable Valve Timing
GM has a new generation of V6s that use VVT. Cadillac started using a 3.6l (255 hp, 245 ft lbs torque) in the 2004 CTS. They have also come out with a 2.8l version. My understanding is that they will eventually have three different displacements.
I have that engine coupled with an AISIN 6 speed mt on a 2005 CTS. Car is great. (0-60 in the low 6's 3800 lbs)
Now, for those who wonder why I am in this forum, I just found a 2002 Civic Si that my son purchased. I have driven the vehicle for several days and have been very impressed with it.

NO WAY... considered an Acura TL, but test drive confirmed my preference for RWD vs FWD. Had to upgrade to the sport suspension to firm up the ride. Its a great car - take one for a test spin and see for yourself.
I am very impressed with Hondas - Wife has a CRV - but I am a bit partial to RWD vehicles (and I know the NSX is RWD)
The CTS is a company vehicle - no mods allowed. Maybe after the lease I'll buy it and drop it.
