Hello I have a 04 civic dx and I want to put a vtec engine in it... Do you know what year and **** I would have to get of engine to fit in mine? Please let me know.. And how much is the price of one? Thank you...

 

youcould put a k20, or a d17 out of a ex (which is not worth it).

k20 swaps start at about 4 grand i think and thats if you do all the work and some fabrication.

you can swap motors from the 7th gen SI's or RSX.

 

I'd look into a k20a2 motor from an 01-03 rsx type s... 200hp, true vtec, and a 6-speed transmission It'll set you back $5k or more though

 

yes, k20 kicks butt. But isnt cheap

BTW reaper, what are you doing with your car? I have seen you talking about swap, new car, etc.
