head gasket sometimes do it. but usually the other way round - water would go into the engine

yeah, its the head gasket. hopefully. if its not the head gasket, it could be a crack in the head or block, but im still betting its the gasket. these engines can take a beating before they crack.

Either a cracked block or the head gasket.

Well, if it's the head gasket (which I'm also guessing it is) it's a pretty small seperation, because usually the pressure in the cooling system will force water into the cylinders, not oil into the coolant.

If you have oil in the coolant resivor its normally a blowen head gasket. Then again it could be a crack somewhere in the head. "[sm=laughat.gif]Did you also check your engine dipstick see if that to is all grimmey looking also?" That would be able to tell you something to.
