B18C TYPE R DOHC VTEC Engine 5 Speed LSD Transmission 96+ or
B16B TYPE R DOHC VTEC Engine 5 Speed Hydraulic Transmission this is going in my 92 civic coupe.and i would like to boost one of these in the future witch would be best?

 

neither!! type r motors are meant to be NA they produce their true power at high rpm which makes them unique in my opinion but personally i would boost a b18b nonvtec with stock tranny because of the long gears which allow you to fully use the boost of your turbo works very nicely

ok well i found a b18c-gsr-obd1-dohc-vtec-turbo-engine-5-speed-lsd-transmission or should i go with the b18b vtec then turbo that.cause that engine has the turbo and all i would need to get is a pipeing kit and a boost control?

 

wait? both engines your are looking at are already boosted? do you have links for the forsale threads?
