i just bought a 00 civic... and it says vtec sohc on the side.i was told it was an ex, but doesnt have emblems, the engine says d16y8 on the timeing cover. and when i went to get an air filter, it said that the engine for vtec was a d16z5 sohc 8 valve i think, so what do i have? is the d16y8 a vtec sohc 16 valve like i thought?
