what's the best swap for a 92 civic HB
yes. b16 is good choice. www.hmotorsonline.com
sirII full swap is 2200 plus shipping
allow yourself maybe an extra 1000 on top of that to do flywheel, clutch, water pump, timing belt, cams and get yourself on the road

the water pump and clutch and stuff are just planning ahead. if you have the motor sitting on the floor, its a 45 minute job to install a new flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, water pump, timing belt, and tensioner pulley. if its in the car, its more like 12 hours at best.
gotcha, thanks. does it make sense to buy and engine and store it away, until you get everything you want and then install, or are there rubber or other parts that'll suffer from sitting?
i'm in new york, but i don't have the cash yet, i'm just doing info gathering at the moment. but thanks very tempting.
btw- as i asked above is it safe to store an engine or will it need to be torn down if sitting too long, thanks
