Default Whats the best swap for my 95 Civic LX

Think I'm in need of an engine for my 95 Civic LX. I believe it have a D15B7, I know it'sthe plan old 1.5 , 5 speed. I'm looking for a bit more power though. With the old engine I could not even run the air going up a hill, it did not have enough power. Anyway,
I'm wondering what would be the best engine swap for this Civic ? I would like to find an engine * & tranny * that will fit with very little to no mods ! I have no clue what I'm doing and from what I'm told, nobody around me really knows much about Honda's, their loss !

Anyone have a good Idea how to make this granny Civic into a true Civic Badass sleeper ?
Thank You !

Well I don't need to win races , really but, I would like it to move out a bit. I am a high speed Civic driver, you know how we all are. Some have said, e-bay has swaps for like $750.00 so, that's kinda what I was thinking on price.

Is that the b16 Vtec motor swapsI see on e-bay ? And, what you're saying is, the 1.6 is is the best bang for the Civic's buck to get by the cheapest.

If you're going to do a swap. DO NOT BUY FROM EBAY. I have seen so many horror stories that it's just ridiculous.

Engine doesn't work, engine isn't what the auction claims it is, all sensors are broken, etc.

www.hmotorsonline.com Spend the money on a 92-95 b16a. You get the entire changeover except for mounts.

1750 plus shipping for everything.

I've seen that. Is there a " one better than the other " or , what's the deal with all the b's ? Will one work and the other wont or what ?

I know I seem dumd here, it's just age and lack of the play $ catchin up.
I can't give up my honda cuz, it kicked most *** it came across and I like that !

first off ur not getting a engine, tranny, motormounts, harnesses and axles all for $750 unless u find a good deal...... and whos doing the swap for u??? i would either drop in a b16, b18b is the ls motor or the gsr which is the b18c if u have the money for this, if u dont save up.....
