ZC rods and pistons in a D16

i did learn quite a bit about what i konw from old skool guys, at least as far as internals go. all of the old skool guys i know ask me when it comes to fuel injection though. its funny stuff. so i am guessing our cyclinder walls are a harder metal than the old v-8's so they will wear away the rings to fit.

yeah, and that old problem with the ledge at the top of the cylinder that builds up if the car is never revved high hitting the piston when it finally is revved, isnt really an issue with our cars either.

yea, i have taken appart a few imports and never found that ridge. im sure it has to happen on some really high milage tuff though

well, and you have to find an import that wasnt revved high for 2-300k. not easy to do.
