Default Canoe on roof - 2000 Honda Civic

I am about to drive from the east coast to the west coast, and somebody wants me to haul their canoe on my roof of my 2000 Civic EX.

Could anyone help me estimate how this will affect my mileage?

It weighs about 75lbs and is 16ft long.

Geez.. they stuck you with the canoe? I'd say no more than maybe 2-5 depending on the terrain. Keep in mind the canoe is arrow dynamic BUT it will catch air. The weight probably won't affect anythin. I'd be more concerned with ability to drive

It will create some drag, but yeah, the canoe is aerodynamic enough that it won't affect mileage that much.
