Thumbs up WOW! - mpg

Buckled under the pressure, parked my diesel and bought a 99 civic EX this last weekend. First tank, 35 MPG. I haven't even had the time to go through the car yet, check plugs, air filter, air press, DTC's, etc... The gas company's are gonna hate me, cuz this is $4000 less a year they'll see.... gotta love it.

haha, awesome! sounds like a nice buy and its in good shape iif its getting 35 mpg. Mines throwing a CEL because of a bad O2 sensor and I only see about 31 mpg because of it. I just dont have the time or money to get it fixed right now.

Anyways, got any pictures of the car? Any plans for it?

also, what kinda diesel were you driving? just curious.

welcome to the forum!

great mileage! Is it a manual? That's about what my DX auto gets. I can't wait to convert it to a 5-speed.
