"what have you done to your civic today?"

sprayed white lithium grease on the hood hinges along with the latch area
reason: sounded like a a group of mice where under the hood whenever I drove past 35mph. Apparently the hood latch would slightly move up and down, but it was enough to squeak. While driving you can't tell it's the hood, sounds like it's coming from all over underneath in the front.
I was talking to a random person at the honda dealership and he happened to mention his car had a squeaking problem also, he had 6th gen coupe, and that his wife told him it sounded like it was in the front. He found out it was the hood latch area. So luckily I was there or else I'd still be wondering wtf the squeak coming from.

In the past week or so:
- replaced ICU; tested wiring etc... to figure out why my intermittents only work with lights on
- removed the pinstripes
- debadged
- replaced driver's side sun visor with one that doesn't have tears
- clean my battery terminals, sealed them with terminal protector

Despite the fact that it was -15C yesterday, and a couple of degrees cooler than that in my garage, I decided to remove the 1/2" rubber trim above the wheel arches. I started just by testing a small part of it, ended up being cake, heated gently with the hair drier and peeled it off taking 90% of the adhesive with it.
Still a stock car, but without the stick on stripes and rubber, it looks mui beuno.
Might get a tint next week to delete the fish bowl effect.

Did you take before/after measurements on your springs? Would be interested to hear what the drop was immediately after install vs. a couple of weeks from now.
