"what have you done to your civic today?"

Figured out the source of an annoying rattle, that sounded almost identical to a blown rear shock, just more rattely than clunky...
The "cargo tray" area in the coupe, where the 3rd brake light lives. Jammed some tool drawer liner between it and the window. I could've sworn there was a tsb for this issue, but a quick search revealed nothing. If there was I'm sure they just used some adhesive backed foam of some sort. Off to search some more.

o i hate that rattle. mines nuts with my bass! mine simply needs all new clips and poped down. they are commonly damaged or not snapped back in right when people replace there rear speakers. mines going nuts with the bass. but i dont think about it until theres a good song and i crank it. one of those eventualy ill fix it things.LOL

^ before ya send the new amp in for repair check your subwoofers ohm load at the amplifier! if the ohm load is to low for the amplifier it can easily start popping fuses on the amplifier!

I hate clips/fasteners, etc... it's like the engineer took a day off and made the intern come up with the designs.
Mine looked good from a quick glance, at least the part coming through the sheet metal. Couldn't tell what was going on where they attach to the trim.

Installed foam baffles behind the door speakers, no more rattling! & hopefully no more wet speakers...
I read some complaints about sound quality diminishing with baffles, I personally didn't notice any.

-replaced defective boston acoustic rear speakers with mb quart.(I blame old cheap amp for blowing these speakers)
-router ethernet cable from amp to the sub db level dial which is under the radio
-replaced missing/broken interior panel clips while everything was out
-broke the head of a bolt that secures the smaller rear seat
-saw a 98 civic hatchback at honda dealer with some s2000 seats. Now I have got to get a pair lol...also will match my steering wheel nicely
-cleaned intake filter
