Finallt added a nice alarm, never had one the whole time i have had my car.
Its an Avital 5303, and it seems pretty good, got it for 325 installed with remote start and starter kill.
Got a caliper paint kit and hope to give that a whirl either tomorrow or next weekend.

well i got good news and bad news.
good news is today i got new black headlights for my civic and rear seats to match my front 99seats to complete my 99-00 upgrade to my civic.
and then on my way to the pullapart to look for a wheel for a friend my amplifier popped the main fuse... turns out the amplifiers internal screen fell out and shorted out a few internals so now i have a death squall coming from my amplifier! which really sucks!!!!!! im going to call rockford tomorrow and see if they cannt help me out since this was clearly a manufacture issue and not user error!

Started a new sub box, and (hopefully) fixed my leaky trunk....it rained like crazy here and i found a nice puddle in my spare wheel well. Thankfully everything, all carpet, wood, amps and subs were out of the car for the box build.

well the other day i rolled my civics fender lips in the rear to prep for it to be slammed and to also sell the tool since i needed some cash.
not sure if rolling the fenders is really needed BUT i had the tool already so might as well do it. i rolled them very fast with no heat which is why its distorted alittle, and the paints last job was not prepered right so the last layer of paint just flaked off the drivers side.
i still have alittle bit of the fender lips to straighten out alittle bit with a few different style hammers and metal dolly to clean it all up.
after i lower the car/after i paint it also/ im going to be buying some 99-00 SI OEM wheels.
i also found out what was hitting on my shifter.... i thought that the cat converter or O2 sensor was hitting when in 5th or R... well turns out it wasnt. the shifter arm has a little drop piece on it and that is hitting the exhaust pipe every now and then.... so eventually ill just pull the shifter linkage again and bust out the hammer to bend that little lip up out of the way a bit, and also install my new bushings since mine does have alittle play. the bushing might be enough BUT while im under the car i might as well bend that lip up a bit...
i can slightly pull it down a bit and it hits the pipes. so at least i know whats hitting now.
