I got tired of having a hole in the taillight of my '94 Hatchback, so I found a used aftermarket set on Ebay for only $36. They arrived in good condition and I set about to get them in. It was a little involved, but not too bad. After removing the fasteners in the back half of the side panels I was able to bend them out and prop them open enough to access the 4 nuts that hold on each lens. The biggest pain came when I went to screw in the bulb holders only to find that the pattern of the ears of the stock bulb holders didn't really match the slots in the new lenses. I got them wedged in well enough for now and I'll just hold my breath and make a permanent fix some other day. These new lenses are the "blacked out" look and really make a difference for my little black Hatch!

Got 5 qts of royal purple motor oil and a K&N filter

Got the A/C checked, no leaks, and compressor engages, but I need to get a switch for the new 134a system in it to get it to work, at least that's what the guy said.

I've been seeing a strange red flash out of the corner of my eye over the past couple of days. Today, I learned that this red flash was my OIL LIGHT periodically flashing at me. It flashed a lot today so I checked the oil. Turns out I've been driving like an ******* while 3 quarts low. It's a miracle I didn't grenade the engine.

Still doesn't sound right even with oil. Looks like I might wanna keep up with the engine rebuild project.
