"what have you done to your civic today?"
Today I used Meguiar's Plastx to clean up and defog my headlights. They look brand spankin' new! I also detached my entire worn, dull, weather- beaten windshield wiper assembly, sanded them with 400 grit, wiped them with dupli- color prep wipes, and then sprayed them with black dupli- color trim paint. I'm gonna let them dry over night, wash and wax my car, and then install the wiper assembly! I can't wait to see how they look! Today I also used eagle- one metal polish and cleaned my lug nuts and exhaust tip. I'm basically doing my spring- car cleaning today and tomorrow. I'll see if I can post pics of my car sometime this weekend.
Well May 1st as I was backing out to wash my car the door swung wider and hit the garade door rail and bucked like a waffle. In a panic I called my dear son who dropped everything and came rushing to save his dear Mom.
He fixed the garage door and took my car leaving me his 1994 Civic for two weeks. Today I get it back and see what all he has fixed. He had to replace the door which he found on Craigslist for $50, I know he painted the door, changed the valve cover and spark plug gaskets but he said he has done extra things also. I can hardly wait to get my baby back. I am a lucky Mom.
