"what have you done to your civic today?"
Got my car back from the shop. Turbo setup is very nice. 12lbs pushing 275whp and 235ft lb torque.
It took them a while to get the HKS EVC-R controller setup right, but the graph showed a steady climb, nothing noticeably peaking then dropping.
All I know is that it sounds very nice, turbo spools quickly, and launches like a rocket. Seemed like it went from 30 to 65 in a blink lol. And for those who want to assume something stupid, I was doing short bursts in a 55 with no cars around, so save it.
The Blow off valve has a nice sound, nothing obnoxious, no super sneeze ha. The few times I got the rpms way up the engine screamed, scared me at first to be honest.
I have to wash it as usual, it's a bit dirty and the only drawback is that they had to take out the foglights. You can see the piping right behind the covers in the bumper, I will find a way to get these or another set to fit.
But other than that, it sounds and runs great

fixed.
speedometer
headlights
under hood fuse box had 3 blown fuses
slowly improving bumper situation
removed header cover
put on cold air intake
straight piping today
got some 15's on it.
I want to rebuild the b20a5 and get a header for it.

Replaced front tires with Yokohamas and now car is a lot quieter in front. Tire dealer pointed out the waving or cupping on the rear driver side inner part of tire and said have an alignment and struts checked out, before doing the rear tire replacement.
So I've done a strut before and figured I can do this. 3 years ago, Car was in a severe rearend collision and almost totaled by insurance co, but the body shop presumably aligned the vehicle when this happened 3 years ago.
Question:
What's the sure fire way to know the struts are due?
Do I just compress the springs and replace the cartridges?
I know I need to have the alignment done immediately after and prior to replacing the rear tires.
And:
Should I do the front struts, as well?
Motormounts and were done about 10k ago. though I don't think that has much to do with the front end ride
Thanks everyone for the response

Installed blue LED dome lights and blue under the dash LED's and put on my cold air intake, bought new drag rims (black) and now I have to wait for them to get here lol. I also bought an exhaust but I need to find someone to put it on
^^ You don't want to install the exhaust by yourself? The hardest part is removing the OEM system
Anyways, I haven't done much to the Civic recently. Just replaced the speakers though since I picked up some Memphis audio 6.5" components on the cheap. sweet

As sad as it sounds, did an oil change myself for the first time. I'm trying the newer pennzoil ultra oil this time.
And I installed the skunk2 dual bend short shifter. In the process of greasing the shifter and tightening down all the bolts related to taking it out, got rid of the vibration and squeaking coming from it after I got my car back from the shop that did the turbo.
