"what have you done to your civic today?"
I ordered my Twin-loop today from the muffler mall. The guys there were super friendly, they answered my e-mail in about 6 hours, and the checkout was a breeze. Can't wait to get that puppy on there, take ole rusty bones off and shoot it full of holes. It's my first mod in nearly 3 months.
I began removing my S20-A000 transmission because the differential is bad. It's my DD so I can't have much down time and a diff rebuild is not an option. Tomorrow the K4F-B000 goes in!!
I have also been replacing all the bushing to energy suspension bushing while I'm in there. So far the bushing for the swaybar, power steering rack and pinion, transmission mount inserts. Next come bushings for the front and rear lower control arms, front upper control arms, and a Megan Racing trailing arm bushing.
Also, I replace an outer tie rod and its boot.
Oh, and I'm ALMOST done converting my interior to all black. I'm just waiting on the steering wheel.

the other guy before me had polyeurethane bushings in there, but they're getting kind of old... like starting to crack and wear and stuff, but the old shifter felt real loose as a result of it, the new one doesn't at all... it feels tighter in every way
Installed a set of JDM clear fogs yesterday. While I had the bumper cover off, I discovered that my car had a factory plastic shield installed behind the 'grill' opening that only had about 5 or 6 of the grids opened up on the radiator side. I promptly yanked that thing off, reinstalled the bumper (with the new lights), and now my A/C blows some freaken cold-*** air (unlike before).
Bonus!

I pulled the exhaust cover and the valve cover to repaint them. I am doing the valve cover a dark gray, and just polishing the bare metal of the exhaust cover. Took off almost all of the blue vacuum hose, and replaced it with black. I AM OVER THE BLUE!!!
Also pulled all four tires and checked out the brakes and suspension. Which leads me to tomorrow. Replacing the brakes. LOL
It has been fun so far. I missed getting dirty.

put my old r34 front bumper on the car just for ****s and giggles... actually, I was curious as to how much ground clearance I'd have with my car slammed with the kit on... as it turns out, it's about 2" on the sides and 3.5" in the center.. that's freakin' low lol
(and no, the bumper's not on the car anymore; it's back to stock)
