well YESTERDAY i swaped out MOST of my suspension from my lowered onto friends STOCK civic. luckely no problems with his like mine did with the rear strut bolts siezed and needed new bushings. BUT all most done with puting the stock suspension on my 94civic. i was just waiting on 1 strut/fork bolt to come in. and got that now
just took a break to get some food. nothing special BUT after i put this last bolt in and get a alignment the 94 will be READY FOR WINTER!!!!!!!! O YA......
good for me and good for my friends civic that he wanted lowered.LOL

BEFORE

AFTER

its monster truck time.... LMFAO

but o man looks ugly now being lifted and i swear i feel smaller now, plus doesnt handle as good now of course..... BUT i need every inch i can get for winter driving! so its a stock suspension.....

also swaped in another speedsensor and now at least it works after awhile BUT i still think my cluster is bad so HOPEFULLY my DX replacement cluster will come in quickly that i just paid for off ebay that ill swap out the speedo part and HOPEFULLY IT WORKS PERFECTLY and thiers no more wiring issues elsewhere!

I flushed my radiator. Lubed up my clutch pedal to try to get rid of the squeak, and topped off all fluids. Then cleaned her out and cuddled with her a bit. LOL

Pulled the head and swapped the head gasket. Turns out there was two different places that were 'wet' on the block immediately below the head and apparently, the head bolts in those areas seemed a little less tight as the rest of them.. Looks like I might've taken care of it this time, but I'll be pulling the valve cover again in another 500 miles and re-torqueing... just to make sure.

So for now - or at least until another oil puddle forms under it - my '95 Hatch is back on the road.

Turns out that home-made CAI is doing some MAJOR things for the engine. It seems like a rocket now. Of course, that's without the A/C running, and it's a little cooler outside than it was earlier this summer. I just wish I could justify picking up a set of 5- or 7-spoke 16" rims and 40-series skins.

Vacuum, fixed the tire pressure, cleaned out the windows.....and....

Wired my (former) cigarette lighter iPod transmitter into the car! Now my cigarette lighter is free to do other stuff like: nothing! The best part is that it's in the add a circuit with the cathodes and LEDs so it won't drain the battery while the car is off. And I was even smart enough to stop myself from wiring it so that it would only be on when the cathodes are.
