Default 01 Civic front seats in a 98 EX?

So I have a 98 EX coupe and the front seats are starting to hurt my back.

I was checking out the front seats from a '01 Civic and they look more comfortable. Does anyone know of '01 Civic front seats are direct fit to a 98 EX coupe? Or does anyone know about any aftermarket seats that'll fit and are more easy on the back for a 98?

Cool! Looks like I should be on the prowl for some GSR 97-01 seats instead. But after reading that write-up on how to get the outter rails to match it looks like a PITA.

Swapping rails will not be a problem at all. I have Integra cloth seats right now for the fronts. You only have to swap the inside rails of each seat (2 rails total). Was this the write up you are speaking about? This is what I used to swap mine in. Remember, you only have to swap the rails closest to the center console on each seat.
Check this DIY if you haven't yet:

Here's a pic of what mine look like.

I am used to them now, but when I first sat in them, I was in love. The lumbar support is the best thing about them! (Well, at least the driver seat... no lumbar control on the pass. side)

I forget what thread I read, I think it was at Honda Civic club or something. But they were talking about replacing the outer rails (left driver, right passenger) then drilling some holes so they matched the alignment on the inner rails, etc etc.

I read your thread, holy crap that looks so much easier to do. And those are 94 Integra seats, which I'm sure I won't have trouble finding at the junk yard.

I'm gonna see if I find a pair this weekend and get that started. Pix and my own write-up on the way.

Thanks for your help
