Default 04SIR For $16900 - What do you think of this buy?

$16,900 for 2004 - CIVIC SIR @ 80,000kms

I went to the dealership and test drove it, everything is in mint cond. Been constantly re-thinking on buying this or not for this price. I put some cash down to hold the car at the dealership.

The car looks great, did you check kbb.com?
Oh and cash down to dealers means nothing, if they get a better offer they will sell the car

Yeah but it should give you a good guess of how much it will cost. Isnt it 1.00 american is .99 cents canadian?

Yes, our currency is about even with yours at the moment, but that doesn't mean cars don't still cost nearly twice as much here in Canada in some cases.
i.e. I spent a couple years in California going to school, and while I was there I bought my Civic for $3800. When I imported it back to Canada, it became worth about $6-$7k.

Stupid car dealerships haven't reduced their prices here to reflect the nearly even exchange rates, and neither have private sellers. Prices are starting to come down a bit though, because people were going down to the states to buy a car and importing it to save like 10 grand over buying a new car in Canada.

in my area, that car (from a dealer) would go for $15,525 (american) you can do the math on that and decide
