Hey guys any one under 21 with the 06 civic? If so what are you paying for insurance?

 

that should be illegal... i mean your first car should be a **** box beater that doesn't matter what happens to it cause it is such a piece of crap... for example i had a 92 Tercel... i miss that car cause it ran great and was reliable all the time, that was the PERFECT starter car... not a 2006 civic...well that and i can't have one so they shouldn't[sm=smiley17.gif]

My first car was a 1989 240SX

But i'm 20 now and I have a 2006 Civic Ex (coupe), my insurance is about $200...

I'm thinking about getting an Si (Sedan) though...

i thought about upgrading mine to the SI but it would cost about 5 grand... i dont make THATTTt much more to just give 5 more grand :'( tear.

 

HMMMMM actually this will be my 6th vehicle but thanks dad for telling me its not a great first car! Ive owned 3 cars and my first was a 1977 firebird thank you very much.. I have also owned 2 motorcycles.. So dont talk to me about what i shouldnt get..

 

Tell it, under 21 does NOT mean first car.

As for the SI costing $5k more, how do you figure? It appears the MSRP is under $2k more.

As for insurance, $200 sounds cheap, I pay about $700.

 

$700!! Thats insane!! why the hell do you pay so much? How much was your ex out the door if you dont mind me asking?

 

insurancce has more to do with the driver than the car. Just call up your company and get a quote, that's way more accurate than asking people in different states with different driving records.
