I paid 21,900 for EX with Nav, with sales tax, destination, everything. I bought it through a buyers agent. The $700 insurance is per year BTW, I thought it was fair, not so insane.

I'm 18, I got my 2006 ASM Civic SI when I was 17 in January. My insurance is around 12-$1300 a year, which isn't bad at all. This wasn't my first car...I had a nice Nissan Altima SE with 18's, exhaust, headers, tints, sound system...overall a nice car, but I'm good with saving money and work A LOT so I saved up about $9,500 to put down on an 06 SI. Best decision of my life, what a great car!

Not sure if it was mentioned yet, I just scanned through the post. Insuance is based off the following
1- Driver ingo Age/martital status/children ect.
2-Driver History
3-Vehicle being insured
4-Are any other people on your insurance
5-Are you putting anything as liability for the insurance I.E. a house a buisness or something as "leverage" with the insurance)
6-What type of insurance you want (Liability - full coverage)
7-Location (I.E. I have a 94 civic I was in texas paying 160 for full coverage. I moved back to brooklyn and now Im paying 218 for liability)
Now seeing that you can see how it can easily vary from person to person. 2 people with the same car born on the same day could be paying completely different prices for the exact same insurance.

Ouch, I'm 21 and my first car was a chrysler lebaron sedan. Now I've got a 00 civic and I'm paying 136/mo for insurance on top of a $250 payment.
That's a world away from my last vehicle, a 2002 dodge ram diesel 417/mo payment, 236/mo insurance.
