Default 06 new civic recall

I'm traveling in a motorhome towing a 06 civic LX automatic.A freind called and said his local newspaper had an article about a large recall.
It is to be a front end problem. Possibly a seal? Does anybody have any info?
thanks.

this has already been posted a bunch of times in the same section from a bunch of other noobs...

yes this is a new recall. dealerships are for the most part just getting word so give them a couple days because they may not have the replacement parts yet.

Thanks for the post. From the bloomberg report I can tell my civic does not have a wheel problem. We are in the mountains of NC and do not want to
fall off.Did a Google & Hondacivicform search before posting.
not a noob but an oldbee

why would the recall only affect certain build dates though? does anyone have any ideas?

they prob. realized the prob. on the production line and fixed it then. It takes time for info to spread downwards towards us.
