Default 05/LX sedan Front wheel bearing noise/civic recall?

hi
my car is a civic 2005 lx 4door 38,000+miles and i noticed a noise on the front wheels when i get past 30mph.. Im still paying the car since i buy it new and i never expect any problem to happen so soon, everyone always talk about honda civic being good cars and this looks like cheap made. So i came here to see whats the deal with this and what can i do about, i don't have the money to fix this at this moment and im still paying the car and also the warranty is over 3year and 36000 miles..... the car was made to self destruct past 36,000 miles or what?

I was does some search and found that there is a Honda Recall for 05/07 models, but is my problem included or is just for rear bearings? where do i take this car for that inspection. thanks for helps

Here is what the recall says:

On certain vehicles, the wheel speed sensor housing uses an o-ring seal to prevent leakage to or from the wheel bearing. if assembled improperly, the o-ring may not seal properly allowing water to enter the wheel bearing and eventually cause damage to the bearing, especially in areas where use of road salt is prevalent. if the driver continues to drive with this condition it is possible for the wheel bearing to become loose, which could cause the bearing to fail.
It also says that the recall applies to cars made from 3/24/05 to 9/1/06. I would certainly take it to the dealer. The dealer handles all recalls. If you have been notified, they will check your car and replace it free of charge.

just go to your local dealership and ask about the recall and your problem.... if its under recall they should fix it free..
good luck..

I think if you go to the honda website and go to the owner section, they will tell you whether you are part of the recall or not for sure. they will ask you to type in your VIN # on the top of the dash (driver's side). If your car fits in the recall, then you have all the ammunition to go there and tell them that you have a recall for your car related to the wheel bearing. good luck indeed.

I took the car to the dealer and they said both front wheel bearing are damage and cost over $600+ to get it fix and also said the brakes are bad so another $190 for brakes. i cant afford to pay that but theres someone else to do it for $180 but i need to buy the WHEEL BEARING first. Also i think my car is not included in the HONDA RECALL cause this is 7th generation civic and recall is for 8thgeneration.
What i really need now is a place to buy a good pair of bearing, i did some research and found a few like HONDA genuine parts and they sale like 3 or 4 brands and some make from Japan for around $50-60 each so if someone can recommend me a good quality bearing for cheaper , thanks
