Hi guys, I'm thinkin about getting a brand new SI. I was just wondering if anyone has had a stock one at the track. If I get the car I'll be getting rid of my Dodge Ram that runs 15 secs. Just wondering how it rates.

 

Well, 1/4 miles aren't any stock civics strong suit.. But I've seen it vary anywhere from 14.4 to about 15.9. It all depends on the driver.

I've heard one guy claim that he ran a 14.2 bone stock, but I find it hard to believe. The guy that ran the 14.4 was a good driver and this guy (more like 18 years old) was the one claiming the 14.2

But, the new si handles like a champ... you can just toss it around corners with quite a bit of confidence, especially since it comes stock with an lsd (finally).

The data panel is for the "Pocket Rocket" Comparison test and includes the 2007 Civic Si in addition to the Mini-Cooper, Mazda Speed, and VW GTI.They got 15.1 in the quarter mile out of the Si.

Whats up dude. Just bought the Si in April. This is one sick car!! Avg 1/4 mi time for this car is 14.6!! Which doesnt say much for the perf. of this car. I have the Si Cpe in silver tinted out but stock!! I strongly advise you go test drive this car!! Buy it that day!!
